His devotional website, the Chief Shepherd serves ministers and lay people on seven http://continents.
In 1987, Ray founded the “Christian Distribution Network” (CDN) with the opening of his “Preacher Online” BBS. The BBS evolved to the CDN, which later evolved into the “CDN Today” network. Both networks were instrumental in providing free Christian resources (including the original Online Bible) to people on seven continents. When Ray started using the Internet, the Domain name “CDN” was already taken so he chose CDNToday to represent the new Internet network. For more, visit here to read the history of the CDN.
Later, he founded “Just Ordinary Folks” (JOF) network which enveloped the CDNToday project. JOF eventually became the “Between The Lines Online Community” (BTLOC) that is in use today. BTLOC offers free web hosting and technical support to qualified users. User-owned sites are hosted for people who feel gifted in some speciality area and who wish to share their knowledge and/or skills with others.

Ray’s second passion (after sharing knowledge) is to make technology accessible to the common man. His “Bishop of Technology” website offers advice and guidance to everyday people who want to know more about how technology can be used in their everyday life.
Vivian has tolerated Ray since their marriage over 50 years ago. They have three grown children (who happen to be the most beautiful children ever born) and two grandsons (also perfect). They also have three adopted children at home (all of the canine species – but they don’t tell the “kids” about that). The Waldo family resides in a lovely home in one of the most beautiful and peaceful locations in Southern Louisiana.
Ray’s description of his life: “I am truly blessed. God is good!” Is that flowery enough (BIG GRIN)?
